Subject: Both the tours and the guides were great.
I just wanted to say I did a tour with Mario and the Ancient tour with Massimo ….both the tours and the guides were great. Mario was particularly helpful in answering questions and providing advice on non-tour related questions. Massimo’s impressive binder of ruin depictions/drawings/pictures are essential for that tour to help us understand what the buildings really looked like.
Other guides I saw weren’t using them.

Subject: I will definitely recommend this tour with Cinzia to anyone that's going to the Vatican.
This tour was recommended by a friend that took the tour a few years ago and I was really glad I followed her recommendation.
Cinzia was an amazing guide. It was a long 5 hour tour and she kept the group engaged the whole time. She was very informative and we learned a lot from this tour.
I will definitely recommend this tour with Cinzia to anyone that's going to the Vatican.

Eugenia was an amazing tour guide. She had comprehensive information about every location we visited and really put early Rome into perspective. We were also fortunate enough while with her to have a chance to see the newly opened segment where the home of the Emperor Augustus was located and the wonderful new frescos. It was truly a great experience and I can not recommend the tours with your company more highly.

Subject: I cannot be more pleased about our experience..
Without a doubt our Vatican Museum tour with John Tinto on May 21, 2013 was one the highlights of our trip to Italy. John was excellent, he was patient, took his time and truly educated us on many aspects of the art, history, architecture, etc. He was extremely knowledgeable and had great presentation skills, he kept us engaged for 6 hours (we never stopped for lunch just a small snack as we did not want to miss a thing). We asked John how to get tickets to the general audience the next day and because of his knowledge of how things work at the Vatican he was able to get us three tickets and told us where best to get situated so we could see the Pope. Needless to say we raved about John and Through Eternity Tour. We did three tours with your company on our vacation to Italy.
Our second guide was Mario Baas who also provided us with a great experience. Mario’s style was different than John’s but appropriate to the tour which was the Coliseum and The Forum. Mario was very animated and through his explanations helped us imagine what it must have been like to be at the Coliseum for an event. He knew his history and again we learned a lot on this tour. My daughter (10 years old) remembers everything he mentioned and was engaged during the entire 3 or so hours of our tour. Because our tour was private (just 3 of us) we were able to ask many questions and Mario was able to answer all questions. Because of our tour the day before with John, we had some background knowledge that helped better understand more about what Mario showed us.
The final tour with Through Eternity was with Alessandra Bottone in Pompeii. Alessandra did not disappoint either, she was very knowledgeable about the entire area and she felt like a friend of the family as she made us feel very comfortable. My daughter was very excited about going to Pompeii so this was the highlight of this part of the trip. Again like the other guides, Alessandra helped us understand what it was like to live in this city during that time.
Overall I would like to commend Through Eternity Tours for the following:
1. Quick response once the reservation was made and follow-up once our reservation time was approaching.
2. The emails provided contact information and where to meet guides and the guides where always there ahead of time waiting for us and recognized us right away.
3. The notes made during the reservations were used in coordinating what we were going to see. The guides knew our “history” based on the comments we provided in the reservations.
4. All the guides were professional and true to the description of the website, knowledgeable about the country and sites.
5. The fact that we did not have to wait in lines and because the guides know the sites they know the ebb and flow of tourists and planned how we would see the sites in a way we did not have to fight crowds.
I cannot be more pleased about our experience as these three tours just made our vacation even more memorable, I would highly recommend your company to anyone. We did everything online only using reviews found on Trip Advisor as our guide so it can sometimes make you apprehensive. From a price perspective while some may think it is not economical to us it was worth every penny as we did not have to wait in long lines, try to figure out what the guide book is referring to or hassle with recordings. We had a much more rewarding experience!

Terrific tour! Everything like clockwork. Alessia is a true treasure of knowledge (important for me as a retired history teacher!). Subject: My tour was incredible.
My tour, "Vatican Museums and St. Peter's - In-depth Experience (with Entrance to the Sistine Chapel before it opens)" tour with Laura Nicotra on 07/06/2013 was incredible. I was impressed with Laura’s depth of knowledge and her ability to convey that knowledge to our group in such as way as to make it accessible and interesting.
