Subject: So much more than expected

We had a wonderful tour with Ian!
He let us know up front that he would tailor the tour to suit us and as a result we saw so much more than expected. His knowledge of all things Rome was exceptional and it seemed that no matter what we asked about, he would have an answer and oftentimes with a very interesting anecdote.
We are not a family that loves to walk a lot while touring (except me) and was surprised and pleased that as a family we walked all the way to the Colosseum. I loved saving the money on a cab and the exercise. My husband and kids didn't notice the walk as around every corner Ian found something interesting to point out to us.
After our cruise of the Mediterranean we attempted to head home and skip Rome as we were all just so tired. We are so glad we stayed. The two tours we took with your company provided us all with information that we would never have gotten otherwise and something I know we will never forget.
We will be sure to recommend your tour company to everyone.

My daughter and I took two other tours on our trip to Rome, and the tour with Through Eternity was definitely the best. Our guide Rachel was very organised, and presented a lot of information in an enjoyable way. I had been to the Vatican three years ago and did not receive half the information I received on this tour! I will recommend it to others traveling to Rome.

Subject: Worth every penny!

We had an absolutely amazing tour with Brandon. We all learned so much and his enthusiasm and creativity kept our very tired children engaged throughout the 5 hour tour.
As I looked around us at all the large tour groups and people maneuvering on their own, I noticed more than once, people listening in on Brandon. I felt very smart indeed to have chosen a tour with your company and am sure that people in the Vatican who did hear Brandon speak, were probably a little envious of us as well.
Worth every penny!

Subject: A terrific experience

Gabriel was our tour leader - he was outstanding. I was amazed that a Texan would be in this role, but his knowledge of Church history, art, etc. was terrific. He was also very good at understanding where to go and how to avoid most of the crowds. His time management was very good in terms of focusing us on the important sites and works of art, etc. We were very happy with him and he made a significant difference to us in understanding and appreciating what we were seeing. Subject: Marle went the 'extra mile'

Our 2 days with Marle in Rome were amazing. She greatly enhanced the experience with her expert knowledge and warm personality. Rome was very hot and crowded, but we managed to move around with ease. And Marle went the 'extra mile' to make sure our experience was all that we wished for.

Marle was great with our teenage sons and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our experience. I would recommend Marle and your services to anyone visiting Rome. Thank you very much for an amazing Roman experience!!!

Subject: Ian made our experience in Rome a memorable one

Good morning – I wanted to commend Ian, our tour guide for his knowledge and expertise as he showed us the many sites of Rome. We met up with Ian on Friday, October 2, 2009. Our group of 14 immediately bonded with him. He made our experience in Rome a memorable one. We would highly recommend Through Eternity and especially Ian to anyone visiting Rome. Subject: I wish all kids could have the same experience.

Taking my 16 year old son, Timothy, to Rome for a few days of cultural "immersion" could have gone either way! but we were lucky enough to spend the two days with Tom Robinson who was wonderful. He walked us the length and breadth of Rome in sweltering temperatures but was so interesting, knowledgable and fun that we loved every minute of it! Although Tom was a bit concerned that my son was very quiet he needn't have worried, he has not stopped telling everyone how great Rome was and now frequently points out references to art and archicecture we saw with Tom and history we discussed. It was a wonderful introduction for him and I wish all kids could have the same experience.

Subject: I so appreciated not having to stand in line

Thank you for making it easy for me to comment on my tour. I booked three tours with Through Eternity (Vatican; Colosseum; Palatine Hill). I was so grateful, and appreciative of the service that Through Eternity had to offer. First of all, both guides, Philippe and Emma, were outstanding. They were conscientious, personable, knowledgeable and informative. I know that I would never have gotten any real valuable information out of just touring places on my own. In addition to being able to discuss the things that we were seeing (art, architecture, etc.), our tour guides were able to give other valuable information (history, mythology, geography, etc.). I so appreciated not having to stand in line for any of the monuments/tours. This was my first trip to Europe, and I could not waste any time standing in a line. If I had to stand in a line, I would not have seen the inside of those wonderful Roman monuments.

I was also very appreciative of the small size of the tour. It allowed a more "intimate" exchange with the tour guide and fellow travelers.

I was traveling with my eighteen-year-old son....because of the Through Eternity tour...we were able to see the most valuable parts of a Roman Holiday and still enjoy each other's company when it was over.
