Subject: One of the Highlights of my trip to Italy!
I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Vatican Museums and St Peter's. My impression of our guide, Antonietta, was that she is someone who loves art, is very good at explaining it and loves teaching it. One of the problems with these tours I find is that they are either hugely simplified or they give a sanitized explanation of the art and history, usually in order not to offend anyones views, but for me this takes from the whole experience, the richness of the art, I think, is better appreciated when its context is explained. The fact that for instance Michelangelo's Jesus figure in the Last Judgment was based on the pagan god Apollo (a fact I learned on the tour) for me, makes me look at the fresco in a different way, but I wonder do many tours of the Vatican tell this for fear of offending? Or that Caravaggio's, Entombment of Christ has a beggar and a prostitute in it, the knowledge of which says something about the artist and makes the viewer see the picture in a different way, as if the picture is filled with humanity, warts and all.
Antonietta on her tour, gave a wonderful, passionate tour of the Museums and St Peter's, that was one of the highlights of my trip to Italy, I hope that in future you maintain the very high quality of these tours.
Subject: Paolo was Wonderful!
Paolo was wonderful, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Could not have asked for a better guide or tour of the Ancient City! Paolo was very knowledgeable, explained everything and gave so much history which really enhanced our experience.
We would not hesitate to book another tour with througheternity!

Subject: Two great tours with Mario and Thomas
We had really great tours with both Mario and Thomas.
Although the tours were quite different both men were punctual, amusing, interesting and very knowledgeble on their subject.
Thomas in particular has a great depth and flexibility, with layers upon layers of minuitae, much to the delight of Tony and me.
Mario has the good fortune of looking as though Michaelangelo should paint him, so that was very nice too! We would be happy to recommend both of these men and your service.

Subject: Luca made the Forum come alive!
My husband and I very much enjoyed our Ancient City In-Depth tour with Luca De Angelis on. Luca's passion and expertise made the Forum , Palatine Hill, etc. come alive and I have relied on what I learned from him to enhance other historical sites I have visited. I would absolutely recommend him as a tour guide.
Subject: Adriana made us feel like friends instead of clients
My husband and I had the most amazing time with Adriana on our tour of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip and we loved how small and personal the size of the group was. Also, I had toured ancient Rome before, but my husband had not. We both felt like we learned new and interesting things. Adriana was professional, extremely knowledgeable, and very kind. She made us feel like we were her friends instead of her clients. If we ever come back to Italy, we will definitely schedule another tour with your group.
Thanks again for a great experience,
Subject: We Thoroughly Enjoyed the Vatican tour with Katia!
We thoroughly enjoyed the Vatican tour with Through Eternity tours. Katia was entertaining and very knowledgeable. We were glad to have a more in-depth tour. Also, we would have been happy to use your service again in Florence, but sadly you were already booked up for the dates we were there.
Thanks again to Katia for a great tour.
Subject: Mario is treasure!
You must know what a Treasure you have in Mario. His depth of knowledge, understanding of the subject matter and passion for what he does is remarkable! We thoroughly enjoyed ou time with him, can't wait to come back and hire him again, and we will certainly recommend Mario and Through Eternity Tours to anyone asking for a special trip through time, and the history of Rome.

Subject: We Could Have Done Another 5 hours!
My husband and I participated in your Vatican Museum. Laura was fantastic! She has a wonderful disposition and she is a wealth of knowledge. We were very fortunate, our group was a fantastic mix and we were all so eager to learn. Laura was patient with us - yet kept us moving at a good pace. She is passionate about art and history and it clearly shows. Laura shared so many details of the Vatican, starting from the outside walls and ending at St. Peter's. We highly recommend this tour - it was 5 hours long but we could have done another 5. We hope to use Through Eternity Tours again.
Subject: Three Great Tours
We took three tours with Through Eternity and they were all wonderful. The on the day we arrive we took the Rome at Twilight tour. Thomas was so funny and light hearted! He was out first tour in Rome and he lit up the city for us! We then took the Ancient City In-Depth Experience with Katia. The tour had a great pace and she was great because she told us we could sit in different places, grab water, toilets (because it was not a short tour). But again, so well paced, informative and fun! Finally, our Borghese Gallery tour with Caterina was fantastic. She was so great! It really was nice to have an art historian takes us around this amazing museum.
Subject: The time flew by with Luca!
We cannot say enough how impressed with and how much we enjoyed our tour with Luca, in July. He was so nice and incredibly knowledgable about all things Vatican and Roman history in general. We took the 5-hour walking tour of the Vatican which included early entry to the Sistine Chapel. The time flew by and I was amazed that he could continue talking for that long with so much knowledge and be so interesting to listen to for the entire time. It was clear that there as so much that we didn't even get to hear, and that he would have been fully prepared to answer any other questions we may have had. While the early entry did cost a bit more, as did going in a relatively small group (we had 6), it was totally worth it. If nothing else, it kept us in front of the masses of people for the most part. It was lovely to be able to sit along the benches inside the Sistine Chapel with so few people in there (maybe 40 or so, with the various groups in there with us?) that we could actually see the beautiful floors as well as the walls, and he let us take as long as we liked. You'd never be able to do that at any other time of the day. Toward the end of the tour we did have to go back into an area with lots of other tourists and it was truly miserable to be packed in so tightly. I'm so glad that the majority of the tour wasn't like that, because we had started ahead of most people.

Subject: Five Stars
We are always skeptical when it comes to tours, but with Through Eternity, all scepticism was put to rest. Guido was fantastic from start to finish and beyond!
Guido's knowledge and expertise on Vatican Museums and St. Peter's was unsurpassed. His additional tidbits of knowledge and comments were thoroughly enjoyable.
Five Stars to Guido and Five Stars to Through Eternity for making our visit to The Vatican and St. Peter's a highlight of our vacation.
Grazie, Thank You
PS If any opportunity comes up, to recommend Through Eternity to anyone, I will not hesitate.
Subject: Through Eternity made our vacation
OK, Through Eternity, after Guido on Thursday, I did not think you could get any better, but Anna was right up there if not more knowledgeable about The Ancient City, Forum and Colosseum.
Her expertise was amazing, facts, figures just rolled out of her as we just ate up her knowledge. Always considerate of the group (it was a very hot day) to discuss topics in the shade, to maximize our comfort. A pure delight!
Through Eternity you made our vacation, and if we have an opportunity again, I would not hesitate to come back, not to mention spreading the word on how good you are, and recommending wherever possible.
Grazie and Thank You
Subject: Highlight of our stay
There aren't enough adjectives, in my vocabulary, to describe the experience we had with Caterina (Ancient City) and Cinzia (Vatican). Both of these women were professional, delightful and extremely knowledgeable and made both tours the highlight of our brief stay in Rome. I am only sorry that we did not book our Pompeii tour through your company because the experience would have been more enjoyable.
I was concerned that my 14 year old grandson would be bored by the constant flow of information, along with the length of the tours, but he was just as enthused and impressed as we were, by their knowledge (information not imparted, in history class or guide books).
Both Caterina and Cinzia are to be commended and I know I will eagerly suggest your company to anyone I encounter who is planning a trip to Rome in the future. I regret that I was not aware of your company when I visited Rome in the past because the experience would have been enjoyable.
Thank you for both these tours and especially your tour professionals!!!

Subject: The highest praise
Hello Through Eternity!
We thoroughly enjoyed our Ancient City In-depth tour with Katia. She was energetic, fun and very informative. She spoke very clear English and offered anecdotes about the sites we were touring. We did not feel rushed nor did we feel she went too slowly. Everyone in our group was exclaiming how good a guide Katia is. The café she suggested for lunch was very good too. We have only the highest praise for Katia.
We took the tour based on a recommendation of a family member and are so glad we did.
