Hello,
My mother and sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour, Siena and San Gimignano. Both our driver, David, and our guide, Margarita, were exceptional. Their positive energy, attention to detail and knowledge of the areas really made our trip special.
Margarita had done her research for our tour. She knew our interests and made the tours come alive. She made our visits to both cities memorable. We cannot emphasize what a great job she did in making these trips unique to us. We would request her for future trips.
Thanks for arranging such a special day for us.

Subject: I was worried that 5 hours would be too long but...
The tour with John on May 29th was perfect. I have been on about a dozen group tours in Europe over the last 3 years and John was the best. I was worried that 5 hours would be too long, but the tour went by quickly. Too quickly.

Subject: I would not hesitate to book another tour should I return to Rome.
On May 13th we were met by our tour guide, Eva, for the 7 hour walking tour in Rome that we had booked online. Eva was awesome. She is so knowledgeable about the history, art and politics and presented it all in a simple manner, easily understood by the five of us. She arranged for two taxi's to take us to the Vatican area and recommended an Osteria where we enjoyed a lovely meal. The Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's have so much history and Eva articulated it all so well. So much knowledge to absorb in such a short time, but it definitely made our trip to Rome special. I would not hesitate to book another tour should I return to Rome or anywhere that Through Eternity offers tours.
I would definitely recommend Eva, she is an outstanding guide.

Subject: I would not hesitate to book through your company should I return to Florence.
On May 15th we were met by Angelo who was our tour guide for the Essence of Florence Tour that we had booked online. Angelo proved to be very knowledgeable about the art and history of all the sites we visited. He was an excellent guide and very impassioned about his work.
I would not hesitate to book through your company should I return to Florence.

We did 2 tours with Cinzia :
"The Rome of Julius Caesar and Michelangelo: Roman Forum, Colosseum, and the great piazzas"
"Customized Itinerary" private tour with Cinzia Cutrone on 29/05/2013.
Both were excellent. It was great to have the same guide both days and I really appreciated that. Cinzia was knowledgable and adapted really fast when we got sidetracked or started asking other questions. She walked at my pace (a great help!) and seemed to enjoy my son talking and sharing his own knowledge of history - he is a real fan and she had great patience with him.
We booked the tours initially because we did not want to spend time in queues and we wanted to make sure we did not miss the good stuff. But actually the real value was in her knowledge - the stories she shared were far more memorable than we would have got on our own (or on a group tour).
We all thought she was lovely as a person. And that she had the patience to answer our 1000's of questions showed great patience on her part!
I would recommend this type of private tour to anyone - it was absolutely worth every penny and really helped to make our memories.

Subject: The tour was everything that we hoped it would be.
Our tour of the Vatican was terrific. Francesca met us on time and got us into the Vatican quickly. She was very knowledgable and answered all our questions. The tour was everything that we hoped it would be. I highly recommend the tour and would definitely plan to book other Through Eternity tours the next time we are in Rome.

Subject: The trip to Rome would have been wasted without this tour.
Excellent tour that made this important piece of history come alive. Luca did a great job of putting the pieces together in a very understandable way, and filled the tour with some very interesting details. The ability to ask questions and the freedom from headsets were also major positives. The trip to Rome would have been wasted without this tour.

Subject: I would not hesitate to book with Through Eternity again..
We enjoyed a wonderful tour with Mario, despite being very tired from an early start (4am) and a full day's sightseeing and walking before we got there!
He made the whole thing come to life and was a very good guide.
I would not hesitate to book with Through Eternity again, and to ask for Mario!

Caterina was most knowledgeable and professional and had the patience of a saint! The Vatican was extremely crowded on the day we went on the tour but Caterina plowed through and explained all to us.

Subject: Thomas is an absolute delight and his knowledge is unbelieveable.
This was our third tour booked with Through Eternity Tours over a period of seven years. I had requested Thomas Robinson and we were lucky enough that he was available. Thomas is an absolute delight and his knowledge is unbelieveable. Hopefully we'll be back to Rome in the near future and embark on another tour.
