Subject: A+ Company!
We were thrilled with our tour with Costanza! She was knowledgeable, funny and fun to be with, and sensitive to our needs and wants. I think the tour was well planned, and provided us with a satisfying variety of sights and experiences. I give her and your company an A+!
Subject: Outstanding guide
Caterina was an outstanding tour guide, extremely enthusiastic about Rome, it's history and it's culture. She is a proud Roman and very extremely knowledgeable about the topics of the tour. Very accommodating. Would recommend her as a guide to anyone.
Subject: Insights and details at the Borghese Gallery
There are no words to adequately thank you for the help that I got from your company regarding my tour for the Borghese Gallery. I'm not sure how it happened, but I got our tour date mixed up. My friend and I showed up at the Gallery on September 21 (my 70th birthday) only to realize that our tour had actually been for September 20. In a panic mode, I called Through Eternity with the help of a very nice woman from the Gallery, and spoke to Benny. By then I was in tears and she was so kind and helpful. We were able to reschedule a tour for the next day.
Mario was our tour leader. He was a good communicator....knowledgeable and articulate. By sharing his insights and details about the art, architecture, culture and history of the times, I learned to really appreciate the works of arts that we visited. Mario's sense of humor, passion and conversational manner made the tour fun and lively. He answered our questions carefully and with respect. This was one of the best tours that I've experienced during my travels. Thank you, Mario!
Thank you, again, for your help. In appreciation, I will be writing several great reviews for Through Eternity.
Subject: Greatly enjoyed the Borghese Gallery
Hello, sorry this has taken so long to reply to, but we were travelling throughout Italy until a few days ago! We had a great time on the Borghese tour with Caterina – she was extremely knowledgeable, entertaining and helped us understand the art we saw as well as provided the historical context for the pieces we were seeing. The tour was well organized and informative, and we greatly enjoyed it.
Subject: Energetic and knowledgeable guide
Luca was a wonderful guide. He was very energetic and knowledgeable with a passion to bring the ruins alive. He had a great personality that was engaging and patient to ensure that all questions from our group were addressed . During a portion of our tour the rain became quite heavy, so he adjusted the route to take the lunch break and then back out to the site when it let up; made the remainder of the tour more enjoyable.
Subject: We appreciated the enthusiasm and passion
We toured the Vatican with Tony on 13Sept and can only say good things.
She was simply the nicest and most knowledgeable person, she gave us a much better appreciation for all the art and treasures we viewed that day. This is the second time we have visited the Vatican museums but the first time I have really understood and appreciated what I was seeing. The Raphaello tapestry room was breathtaking and wish I could see it again.
Tony is special and besides her knowledge, we appreciated her enthusiasm and passion for all that the Vatican museum has to offer. She did all that she could to ensure our happiness and went out of her way with my brother in law to help him with some souvenir coins which was above and beyond.
Please pass along our best to her and we hope to make a return trip next year.

Subject: Ace guide!
John Tinto is an Ace! His depth of knowledge, his good communication skills, and his pleasant personality made for a wonderful tour for our family. We learned a lot and had a very enjoyable time. I only wish we could have spent more time with him. Please pass on our thanks to him for job well done.
Subject: The perfect way to start a vacation
We thoroughly enjoyed our Twilight tour of Rome with Thomas, we would highly recommend this tour and Thomas as a tour guide! He is very knowledgeable and passionate about the city and went out of his way to share his passion and enthusiasm. We had just arrived in Rome that afternoon and for us it was the perfect way to start our vacation in Italy.

Subject: Helped us understand the rich tapestry of Rome
Hi, we had a great tour, and in fact, I am copying/pasting to you below the review that I just submitted to TripAdvisor:
We booked the "Underground Rome: Ancient and Medieval, Abandoned and Rediscovered Sites from Paganism to Christianity" walking tour with Through Eternity. This is an exciting tour, rich in detail - and of course, lots of walking, lots of stairs due to the levels that are walked down and down (and back up again), as well as the walking between sites - you need to be ready for that, but at the same time, it is not too strenuous as long as you have a basic level of fitness. This is not a tour for someone who uses a walker or a wheelchair. It is described as a 3.5 hour tour but our excellent guide, Thomas Robinson, Cultural Historian, extended the tour for an hour due to a)his generosity and b)the enthusiasm of the members of our group. There were 5 guests and I think it was clear that we all were fully engaged for the entire tour. Thomas is extremely knowledgeable and also captivating, with a professorial grasp on the extremely broad range of facts that is needed to effectively guide a tour of this kind. This is a fascinating tour, it involves going deep into the ground to the original ground level of Rome, many many feet below the current street level. Churches would be built, the Tiber River would flood, bringing dirt and silt into the church and the city itself thereby raising the level of the city, as the old city was basically buried under silt, something that would happen time and time again - the roof of the old church that was buried from the floods, would be taken off and a new church would be built on the foundations of the old - this happened 3-4 times over the millennia so in many churches there are several churches, straight down, to explore.
Some of the places we toured were St. Clement, St. John and Paul, Saint Nicholas, Saint Cecilia, as well as Roman houses that are now below ground, the Trastevere neighborhood, Circus Maximus, the island in the Tiber - and many other sites! We began the tour with an orientation talk over a cappuccino near our meeting spot. Thomas spoke to us of culture, architecture, religion, economics, sociology, anthropology - spanning millennia. Clearly, he had a comprehensive knowledge base, and he delivered the information in a conversational manner - not dry in the least! Thomas encouraged our active participation, asking and answering questions, keeping things lively. He definitely made the centuries come to life, linking the lowest, oldest layers of the city that we saw, so far below the surface, with the most modern current layers on the top, weaving the threads of history into a tangible cloth, to help us understand the rich tapestry that is Roma - past and present.
Subject: Maurizio made the tour feel personal
Maurizio was an absolutely brilliant guide through the Vatican museum and St. Peter's. It was hard to imagine he could be as great as our first guide but he truly was! He managed to find a way to guide us through the masses and I never felt like it was too crowded because of his creative ways of gathering us together out of the crowds. He was brilliant at making the tour still feel personal in a crowded place. The information was amazing and kept us talking all night. Thank you immensely to Maurizio for making our visit much more special!
Subject: Hidden Treasures on the Underground
The Underground tour by thomas was awesome. He was great. I will definitely tell my friends about. We learned alot and saw some great hidden treasures that are not found in other tours.
Subject: Great Passion and Enthusiasm!
All four of our party had a very enjoyable tour with Alessia. She was professional, polite and very knowledgable about the Vatican and Rome in general.
She helped us navigate through the many rooms of the museum with great passion and enthusiasm. We would be delighted if you would send her our regards. We will consider another Through Eternity tour when we get to Florence because of our positive experience with Alessia.

Subject: 5 Stellar Tours!
We started our week with the Vatican Museum and St Peter’s tour (Katia Di Lodovico) then Rome at Twilight (Thomas Robinson), Red Caravaggio (Caterina Panetta), Underground Rome, and finally The Ancient City (Luca De Angeles).
While we have our favorites based on our personal interests (Red Caravaggio and Rome at Twilight), they were all run in an extremely professional manner and extremely educational. Each of the guides contributed to our experience in their own unique way that made each tour both personal and enjoyable. The love of their subject was exhibited by their genuine enthusiasm.
During the remainder of our trip we mentioned our experience with Through Eternity and will certainly recommend the company to anyone who is going to visit Rome. In the near future we hope to come back to Italy and tour Florence with your company.

Subject: Excellent Tour and Excellent Guide!
Cinzia was fantastic! Extremely knowledgable, friendly and efficient! Excellent Vatican tour with an excellent guide. We will definitely recommend this tour to our friends and family. Thank you Through Eternity and Cinzia!
Subject: Cinzia's Vatican tour was Outstanding!
This tour was outstanding! Our tour guide, Cinzia, had, as I phrased it within the first half-hour of the tour, more information about the Vatican than I have about anything. It was such a pleasure to have an art history major to guide us through such a magnificent place. What struck us as well was her incredible enthusiasm for what she probably does every day. We were delighted to experience such an in-depth but well-paced tour and would recommend it without hesitation.
