Subject: The Perfect Tour Guide

Thank you very much and please thank Cinzia. She was of utmost help to me—extremely knowledgeable and able to answer nearly all of my peculiar questions. She seemed to know all of the relevant archeology and the writings of the ancients by heart. She was very fair and objective in her interpretation of the original sources. She was not afraid to admit when there was a gap in our historical knowledge and explain why that was the case. I felt like a sponge just soaking up as much of her knowledge as possible. She was, in short, the perfect tour guide.

Subject: Last non-cardinals to see the Sistine Chapel!

Our tour guide for the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Basilica In-Depth Experience was John Tinto. The size of our group was 10, which is apparently smaller than the average of 14. He spoke fluent Italian and English, and also understood the Latin inscriptions along the tour. The tour itself was very in depth and John gave excellent discourses about the important pieces of art or structures through the museums and chapels. The tour was scheduled for 5 hours with a 30 minute break, and does involve a fair bit of walking.

Because of the imminent papal elections, the Sistine Chapel was scheduled to be closed at 1:00 PM on the day of our tour. Normally, the tour is scheduled to reach this area at around 2:30, but John adjusted the route of the tour to reach the Sistine Chapel well in advance of the closing time so that our group could see the chapel. However, John did not allow the other portions of the tour to suffer, and made sure to return to the portions we initially skipped. This was greatly appreciated by everyone as we became some of the last non-cardinals to see the Chapel.

The rest of the group and I greatly recommend John and Through Eternity for this tour and experience.

Subject: Four Wonderful Days with Through Eternity

My wife and I just spent four wonderful days in Rome. We highly recommend Through Eternity Tours.

We took the "Nero's Rome: Colosseum (Underground and third Tier included), Roman Forum and Palatine Hill" and the "Underground Rome: ancient and medieval" private tours with Luca De Angelis. He was a fantastic tour guide, highly knowledgeable and informed, but with personality! BTW, Luca's background is an archaeologist and was invaluable.

We also took the "Vatican Museums and St. Peter's - The In-depth Experience" private tour with Katia Di Lodovico. She was also a fantastic tour guide, again highly knowledgeable and informed. She also made the tour personable and enjoyable.

Finally, we took "Borghese Gallery: Myths, emotions, ideas about art and artists" private tour with Caterina Panetta. Her depth of knowledge was outstanding!

You can't go wrong with these guides.

Subject: Wonderful Experience with Giovanni

Dear Through Eternity:

I wanted to provide feedback on both the Ancient Rome tour as well as the Vatican Museum tours we took last week with Giovanni on 18-19/02.
The main reason we took the tours was our desire to see as much as possible in a short period of time, while not overwhelming our two children, ages 5 & 8. Giovanni was an excellent tour guide - he was knowledgeable and thorough, and he really made the tours accessible for all of us. It was an efficient and incredibly enjoyable experience for all of us. He answered questions and was very good with the children - striking the right balance between trying to see and do everything and recognizing when the kids had done enough.

Giovanni was also very helpful as far as restaurant recommendations and ideas for other things to see and do with our children in Rome. It was an excellent experience and we would definitely recommend Giovanni and your services to others.

Subject: Fantastic Tour Guides

Hello!

We had a wonderful experience with Francesca during our tour of 'The Ancient City'. She was very well informed, engaging and was able to answer a myriad of questions. I would highly recommend her (and Through Eternity) travel to anyone.

We also took a tour of Pompeii with Bartolo and also thought he was great. He was humorous, kind, and well informed. We were late for this tour since we took the wrong train from Naples, but he handled it well.

Fantastic tour guides and our interaction with the reservation team was also wonderful.

Subject: Hated Saying Goodbye to Luca! 5 Stars!

Hi,

We are still traveling and internet connections are problematic so I will be replying in more detail later. I wanted to quickly reply though because I could not wait to say how incredible our two days were. Luca is a treasure and brought everything to life for us - we hated to say good bye to him and cannot express how wonderful we thought he was.

Though I have recently begun to consult Trip Advisor I have never left a review there. After we return home though I am going to register and post my first review of your company - five stars absolutely!!

Sorry for the very late reply. Our tour of the Vatican was great and Mr Giovanni Vergineo was a very good guide. Very professional and keep up the good work. Our ancient city tour was also very interesting. Mr John Tinto was very professional. He explained every detail and tried to make us understand the history or Rome. Hope to visit Rome again :)

Subject: John Tinto Exceeds Expectations

I thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour with Mr Tinto. He is a very entertaining and well-informed guide, who takes his time to explain and answer any additional questions in a clear and elaborate way. I never had the feeling of being rushed through the programme, on the contrary, Mr Tinto went beyond the designated tour time of 3.5 hours to finish the tour.
