Subject: Cinzia was Amazing!

My husband and I were part of a tour with Cinzia Cutrone first week of May of the Vatican and St. Peters. This young lady was amazing. She was both personable and very knowledgeable of all aspects of the artwork and all the wonders we saw. Thank you Cinzia for making our tour so memorable.

Subject: We had three children with us....

Our Vatican tour guide was very knowledgeable and kind. We had three children with us (ages 14, 11 and 9) and he answered all the questions my 9 year old asked. We would use and/or recommend througheternity tours.

Subject: Great guide

This was another great tour with another great guide. John was very good, thorough but not in excess. He was in control of the group but still gave everyone the opportunity to spend the time they wanted at each location. His enthusiasm for the art came through and his 6 hour art history lesson was much appreciated. John displayed great courtesy as a tour guide to the other groups and showed expertise at knowing what his role was. Several other guides were definitely not going by the rules for touring the Vatican (cutting in front of other groups, not using their clip on microphones, etc.). John was a pro and very kind at making corrections to these wayward tour guides.

We would highly recommend John as a guide.

Subject: Alessia was Superb!

I'm not normally one to respond to such requests, but I found Alessia to be an exceptional guide and wanted to send a brief comment in support of her good work. I was on a tight schedule in Rome and wanted to see highlights of the Vatican. Alessia did a superb job of keeping us organized and moving, providing essential historical context and drawing attention to things I would not have observed on my own. Her education and interests related to artwork, architecture and history are wonderful complements to her affable personality and skills as a guide. I'd recommend her and Through Eternity without hesitation

Subject: Thanks for Assigning Eugenia

This Borghese Gallery tour was great, mainly because of our guide Eugenia. She was wonderful. She enjoyed having a group of 4 women to take around and show the gallery. We bonded right away. She had great knowledge of the art work and we learned a lot. We would highly recommend her for any tour in Rome.

Thanks for "assigning" Eugenia to our group.

Subject: Caterina was Exceptional!

Caterina was exceptional in her knowledge of Underground Rome and was able to put things into a fun and informational format that both my husband and I enjoyed. She immediately put us at ease and was always conscientious of any discomfort I might have been having and adjusted the tour accordingly. At the end of the tour, she walked out of her way to insure that we could find a taxi that would see us back to the hotel.

Eva was an excellent tour guide. She was informative and passionate about the art and history we saw. Very nice personality and she spoke very clearly. I sure liked getting in early especially starting with the Sistine Chapel.

Subject: Guido was a top notch tour guide with his excellent English.

Guido was a top notch tour guide with his excellent English and clear speaking in a very understandable way. With his history and archeology background he had all the answers. Old Rome came to life as he led us through Roman history. Getting in early and into the additional levels was excellent. His experience in the United States was very helpful since I am from the U.S.

Subject: Outstanding!

Hi,

The in-depth tour of the "Vatican Museums and St. Peter's" with John was excellent.

Regrettably I had misread the tour's start time and was a little startled to receive a polite phone call from Through Eternity Tours checking to see if we were running a little late. As it happened my wife and I had arrived quite early and were only just around the corner from the meeting point browsing in the local shops. We hurriedly got to the meeting point and were only about 2 minutes late but we felt bad about the mix up nonetheless. John was very agreeable upon our arrival. He graciously accepted our profuse apologies and asked us to think nothing more of it.

The walk and entry into the Vatican showed the need for and value in "avoiding the lines". Stunningly long queues and waiting times, all of which we happily avoided.

John was very careful to make sure our group was kept together and organised in the sea of people that were all attempting to storm the Vatican simultaneously. John was most caring and professional in attending to the group's varied "comfort needs".

The tour itself was great in spite of the size of the crowds and the poor attitude of some. John was very focussed on giving the group the best tour despite the trying conditions. I suppose this was just a regular day at the office for John but his demeanour, focus and professionalism impressed me greatly.

John's knowledge, insights and observations of the venues, artefacts, artworks and sights were detailed, extensive and most engaging. With so much to see it would have been so easy to miss so much were it not for John's expert eye and willingness to impart knowledge.

The Vatican and St Peter's are impressive, that's a given. These places are a "must see" for any visitor to Rome, but I think John's delivery of this tour made the experience much more pleasant, informative, educational and inspiring.

There were a few delays in the Vatican due to the large crowds which were obviously beyond John's control but John, unprompted, unilaterally decided to extended the tour to ensure everything was covered. Outstanding!

I would not hesitate to recommend this tour and John as a guide to anybody wanting to visit these "must see" Roman icons.

Thanks again for a great day.

Subject: Nutshell ... Brilliant guide, brilliant tour, highly recommended.

Hi,

My wife and I very much enjoyed our tour of the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Roman Forum with Michael.

Michael's energy, enthusiasm, knowledge and delivery were outstanding. His interactive approach with the tour participants really made us feel "connected" to the sights. Fantastic content delivery ... loved it.

If I only could retain 20% of the vast amount of information Michael imparted then I'm sure I'd be considered "an expert" by my friends and family.

It was quite a warm day for the time of year and Michael was very attentive to the varied "comfort needs" of the group including frequent, welcomed, water stops.

Michael's "getting on and about in Rome" tips were most helpful too.

Nutshell ... Brilliant guide, brilliant tour, highly recommended.

Subject: My wife and I very much enjoyed our tour of "Rome at Twilight" with Thomas.

Hi,

My wife and I very much enjoyed our tour of "Rome at Twilight" with Thomas, it was a great introduction to Rome on our first day in town.

Thomas was friendly, engaging, knowledgeable, interesting and thought provoking. He was willing to answer questions and expand his commentary when more detail was requested/necessary.

Thomas' delivery of the details, intricacies and motivations of the architecture, politics and social mores behind the sights was fabulous.

The time just flew by which, to me, is an indication of how enjoyable the tour and Thomas' presentation of it was.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this tour and Thomas for any newcomers to Rome.

Subject: One could tell Arianna loves art and her job.

The Borghese Gallery (along with the Vatican) was a highlight of our trip. There is so much packed into it is hard to see and appreciate it all. Arianna did a great job pointing out the major pieces and explaining what makes them so special. We really liked how she had us view the statues in circular fashion to see how the artist would show different facets of a single event (almost like a video rather than just a picture). One could tell Arianna loves art and her job. She was a great tour guide.
