Subject: I would definitely use through eternity for future tours.
My friend and I recently had a vatican tour with caterina panetta. She is an excellent tour guide. Very clear and informative without overloading in information. She created a "story" for the tour where she tied information together with the art, which would also include anecdotes. Her way of conducting the tour kept it interesting and much more enjoyable for me. I believe her lightheartedness made everyone comfortable. At the end of the tour, she showed an enthusiasm for rome, and introduced the group to other tours available. I recommended this tour to my sister who will be in rome next month. I would definitely use through eternity for future tours.

Subject: Fantastic Tour!
We loved the personal attention we received from Maurizio on our Nero's Rome tour. He was extremely knowledgable, easy to talk too, pleasant and patient. We loved how he shared pictures of the before and after on the buildings so that we could see how Rome used to look in it's grandeur. He recommended a restaurant for dinner that was outstanding. We all enjoyed our meal and reflected on Rome's beauty, history and life. Overall, a fantastic tour!

Subject: A Fantastic Tour with a Fabulous Guide!
We loved Francesca! She was very pleasant, patient, easy to talk too and extremely knowledgeable in her presentation. We enjoyed every minute of our Vatican tour. It was nice to be catered too and know what paintings, statues, etc were of most importance too see. A fantastic tour with a fabulous guide!

Subject: Fantastic guide!
I really enjoyed the tour with Caterina. She was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and very entertaining. She knew exactly what to do to ensure that we got the most out of the tour and she was also very sensitive to the needs of those who were elderly that needed a little more help managing the stairs. I loved how she used extra props she brought with her to really explain and emphasize certain points which really brought the whole experience to life. She was also very helpful in answering all our questions. I've been on many tours and I think Caterina was one of the best.

Subject: There could not have been a better guide than Cinzia.
I don't usually do guided tours but this was a good one. It saved much time over standing in lines for tickets. There could not have been a better guide than Cinzia. She made her comments interesting to all. She was very knowledgeable about the area. She answered all questions very well. I highly recommend her as a guide.

Subject: Cinzia Inspired Us to Learn More!
The group In-Depth vatican tour was excellent! Cinzia was passionate, enthusiastic and most knowledgeable about all of the art, buildings, architecture we saw and their historical background! The tour was amazing as well. It was well constructed and just the right amount of information. Cinzia also was very aware of our needs (getting away from the "crowds", shade from the sun, water and resting). We learned so much about the history of Rome, Michelangelo, Raphel, the Popes, the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's. Cinzia has inspired us to learn and study more about we saw and experienced!
The tour group size was perfect. Also, we had no idea how busy Rome would be in mid April so it was a perfect way to see and enjoy the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's without all the hassles of lines and crowds. Even if it wasn't the "high" season, I would highly recommend the the Through Eternity tour to anyone. Again, it was an amazing experience and the best way to see the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's!
Thanks for a most enjoyable tour and please give our regards to Cinzia! When we come back to Rome, we will definitely check out the other Through Eternity Tour offerings!

Subject: Could Not Have Thought of Any Better Tour!
My girlfriend and I very much enjoyed our In-Depth Vatican tour. John Tinto was very knowledgeable and professional. He understood what was important as well as its historical setting. He was able to add much of the historical context of what she showed. He spent much of his time explaining what was unique and special. His ability to communicate in english was fine. He was able to keep a dialogue even when the crowds were slowing us down. He was able to respond to everyone's inquiries about what he explained and what we thought we knew. He had a good sense of humor. He was able to deal with difficulties such as one tourist's lost of his receiver. I could not have thought of any better tour.

Subject: We Strongly Endorse Thomas and Through Eternity!
During our visit to Rome 1 April -4 April 2013 we booked a tour with Trough Eternity Tours visiting the Roman Forum and parts of the Ancient city of Rome. Our tour guide Thomas Robinson was an amazing tour guide that made this ancient city come alive. Thomas is extremely knowledgeable and could literally answer any question we posed him. Not only did he inform us with knowledge one can get from any historical source, but he took us on a journey through the culture of these ancient people, causing it to come alive.
Thomas is an extremely pleasant person who becomes a friend in a very short period of time. His vast knowledge of the history and culture of greater Europe made this an unforgettable experience. He is very professional yet very approachable. Even our two teenage daughters drank in every word he said.
We strongly endorse and recommend these private tours offered by Through Eternity Tours. Their service is of very high quality, efficient and professional. Without their service Rome would have been an overwhelming experience but due to their excellent product we cannot wait to return to Rome for some more educational delight. It was worth every Euro spent !

Subject: Gabriel is Not your Average Guide!
Gabriel was not your average guide as we established early on. His knowledge and enthusiasm for his subject was evident immediately and as we were lucky enough to only be 6 participants interacting and asking questions was easy. While walking between the locations on the tour, Gabriel gave us lots of background information which helped to put the sites into context and pointed out elements of the townscape that supported the knowledge he was giving.
We spent the following days in Rome, wondering about all the past below our feet in a way we would not have done, had we not taken this tour.

Subject: Well worth the time and money.
Our experience with Through Eternity Tours and Giovanni Vergineo was well worth the time and money. Giovanni was delightful and more importantly, extremely knowledgable about the Vatican and St. Peter's tour.

Subject: Our tour was excellent.
Our tour was excellent.
Cinzia was knowledgeable, provided just enough historical context for our enjoyment of the artwork, and paced herself to match ours. Her mastery of English was excellent, and we appreciated her attentiveness to making sure we were safely on the right subway back to our hotel.
Despite the crowds, we did not feel rushed. One feature we liked were the briefings, with photos, prior to seeing the sculptures, hallways, buildings, etc., so we knew what to look for and what was most significant. Only suggestion for this tour is to recommend guests bring along a snack in addition to the water. Once in line, we did not want to backtrack to get lunch - although this was offered.
