Subject: Wonderful Essence of Rome with Luca
Just wanted to let you know I would recommend Luca to anyone. We had an amazing day in Rome, all with tired feet, that a good glass of wine was able to fix that night. I do not know how he remembers all the dates, both of ancient, and more modern Italy. But because he did, it was easy to understand the city and how all the pieces fit together. Luca made Rome special for us, and please thank him again for being such a terrific guide.

Subject: Amazing Vatican and Underground Tours
The tour was amazing and Luca was fantastic. He gave us all the history and background which gave the things we were seeing real significance. His enthusiasm was contagious and his explanations were in depth enough that we felt like we were real experts, but also always started with the basics, so that my wife who doesn't really know any history felt that she could learn as we went along the tour. I want to thank Througheternity and especially Luca for the unforgettable experience.
When I was researching tour companies for our holiday, I noticed that Througheternity was a bit more expensive than some others, but after having done the tours, it was worth every penny!!
This was another great tour that we had with Througheternity. Gabriel was really amazing: He gave us all the history, the explanations and the anecdotes which really brought the ruins to life. Thank you through eternity and Gabriel for the really fantastic and unforgettable experience.

Subject: Christmas Eve at the Vatican
Hi!
Leonardo was wonderful and I'd love to take the minute to reply and make sure he receives the feedback he deserves. Christmas Eve was a little overwhelming and busy with so many aggressive tourists but Leonardo did wonderful remaining patient, making sure we could all hear what he was saying and getting the most out of the time we were there. I truly enjoyed my time with him and was so thankful to have booked with you guys.

Subject: Ancient City and the Vatican: Well Worth The Money!
We took the Ancient Rome tour with John as our guide and the Vatican tour with Caterina, both tours were well worth the money and greatly improved what our experience would have been had we toured these sights on our own. John did a great job at pacing us through the Forum, Palantine Hill, and the Colosseum while dealing with cold and damp weather. He was very informative and his style led to lots of interactions with the group members. The Vatican museum would be overwhelming without a guide to point out the key items and keep you on pace to get to the Sistine Chapel and St Peters Basilica.

Subject: Excellent!
To whom it may concern:
We took the 5 1/2 hour Vatican Tour with Cinzia on Monday, Dec. 17, and we really enjoyed it. Cinzia was excellent, and we learned many, many new things about the art and history of the Vatican and of Rome itself. She made history come to life, and I wished the tour could have lasted much longer. This visit and tour were a highlight in our 2-week visit to Italy, and I can not thank Cinzia enough.

Subject: Fantastic Vatican Tour
Cinzia was fantastic at the Vatican . She had an amazing knowledge of art history, and conveyed that to us in both an informative and enjoyable way. The tour of the Vatican was spectacular. Subject: The best tour!
Luca De Angelis took our family of five on a two day tour, the first day to the Vatican city and the second out and about in Rome.
We all felt that it was the best tour we had been on. Luca was extremely interesting and engaging. He was clearly passionate about the history and the sites we visited. We found his reflections on the history of religion fascinating. He gave us a real understanding of the history of Western art and an insight into life in ancient Rome. His manner was considerate and relaxed and we were sad to say farewell at the end.
I have recommended 'Through Eternity' to my brother and his wife who are visiting Rome in January.

Subject: Simply fantastic!
My wife, son and I took two Through Eternity tours on our recent trip to Rome – the 5-hour Vatican museum/Sistine Chapel/St. Peter’s tour and equally thorough but slightly shorter Forum/Colosseum tour – both were led by Caterina Panetta and both were simply fantastic. More than tours, these really were on-site seminars, led by a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic art historian in Caterina.
Without the Vatican tour, for example, I would have found the museum overwhelming. There is just so much to take in, covering thousands of years of art and history. Caterina led us through the museum at a perfect pace – even my son was attuned (which is saying something for 13-year-old boy!). We spent the most time at pieces that gave us artistic and historical reference points for works we would see later in the tour (such as Sistine Chapel, which was jaw-dropping of course) and elsewhere around Rome.
The Forum/Colosseum tour, which was more history and less art, was also terrific. Caterina gave us the picture of daily Roman life in the Forum in full color – including what happened, when and why it was important for the different ruins around the Forum as she talked through the history of Rome. Also, the Through Eternity office staff – including Pip – were a pleasure to work with. All the logistics were very easy. My family doesn’t travel too often, and it’s likely that we are only going to see these sites once, or twice maybe, in our lifetimes. I’m so glad we took these tours and did it the right way. John was a FANTASTIC tour guide and we very much enjoyed our tours with Gabriel. Both were very knowledgeable and allowed us time to take pictures and absorb the history. We would definitely recommend Through Eternity Tours to our friends.

Subject: Ancient City, Jewish Ghetto and Vatican with Gabriela and Cinzia
Gabriel was wonderful at the ancient city. He had an excellent knowledge of Roman history, and conveyed this to us in an informative and engaging way. The tour was a terrific introduction to Rome.
Cinzia was fantastic at the Vatican and again on our tour of the Jewish Ghetto. She had an amazing knowledge of art history, and conveyed that to us in both an informative and enjoyable way. Subject: 10 out of 10 for Katia at the Vatican!
I would give the tour with Katia a 10 out of 10! It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Rome and she was far and away the best tour guide we encountered while in Rome. She knew what she was talking about and was enthusiastic about what we were seeing which was great. I can't say enough good things about it, would definitely use Through Eternity again. Subject: Great Ancient City Tour With Leonardo
The tour was great. Leonardo was very knowledgeable and we were able to ask many deep historical questions that he had a thoughtful answer for. He was very good at telling us not only what each structure was, but also how certain the archaeologists were concerning it. That was very useful.

Subject: Essence of Florence and Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius: Absolutely Fantastic!
We absolutely loved our tour of Pompei and Mt Vesuvius. Bartolomeo was incredibly knowledgeable and he gave us an insight into Pompei that we would never have got otherwise. He communicated in a way that kept our two teenagers interested for the whole time - which is saying something. Bartolomeo was extremely friendly and always willing to answer questions. We would not hesitate to recommend Bartolomeo and Through Eternity to all of our friends.
We would just like to say that Angelo was absolutely fantastic. He started with an overview of the city and then gave us great background on everything we saw throughout the day. Angelo was incredibly knowledgeable on everything and was willing to answer any questions we had. He tailored all the information he gave in a way that kept our two teenage girls interested all the way through. Again, we would have no hesitation in recommending Angelo and Through Eternity to all of our friends.
