Subject: Thomas Showed Us the Extra Little Things

Both my wife and I had a fantastic day. The Seven Hills of Rome by Car tour was our first day in Italy. Thomas was great! Having been referred to you by a friend, we were confident that we would have a great day. The pace was just right, we had time to do and see whatever we wanted.

Thomas is a walking encyclopaedia; his knowledge brought the day and Rome alive. He is passionate about the place and his personality really helped. His relaxed style really put us at ease, but he managed to show us lots of the extra little things, the jewels that you would otherwise miss.

After such a long trip, we found the Mercedes a great way to get around.

Yes the day was expensive, but we feel that we got great value and enjoyment. we found the private tour suited us both. We have already talked to friends about the day as they want to get to Italy soon

Please give Thomas our regards and when we return we will seek him out to show us more!

Subject: This is the only way to visit a city like Roma!

And thank you Cinzia. Cinzia was a wonderful guide, so knowledgeable and such clear explanations. We were a mixed group one 17 year old with sore bandaged knees from a fall, one pregnant lady, it was hot (Roma in July.....) but none of us wanted the tour to end. Cinzia adapted the pace and explanations to each of us and all I can say that it was fantastic. I know now that this is the only way to visit a city like Roma. In I fell in love with Roma and I will be back again to see and learn more.

Subject: Great Guides

Costanza was what every tour guide should be. She was caring, sensitive to the young children in our group. Took us to places both adults and children would like. Knew it was time to move on when the young ones started to get antsy. She didn’t mind when we stopped 2 times to get gelato. She took us to a shop that she thought the children would love which they did. It was certainly 1 of our best excursions.

In Pompeii, Dolores was a wonderful guide. She was very knowledgeable and sweet. She was especially sensitive to the younger children in our party which was very much appreciated. She also recommended a great restaurant.

Subject: Lasting and Favorable Memory

Our apologies for taking so long to respond to your email. Rome was the first stop on a 25-day trip to Europe and we have just recently returned home. We are pleased to provide feedback on the Vatican Tour conducted by Alessia Aletta. Quite simply, we could not rate this tour experience any higher. Ms. Aletta is extremely informed about the art and art history of the Vatican, and she is able to convey her wealth of knowledge in a way that made the history come alive for us. She also kept us moving ahead of the crowds whenever possible, or deftly led us around the bottlenecks when necessary. Thanks to her expertise as a guide, our brief time at the Vatican has left a lasting and very favorable memory.

On a side note, upon my return to Tucson, Arizona where we live I visited my physician who was in Rome about two weeks before us. She asked whether we had taken a tour of the Vatican and then mentioned that she had done a tour with Through Eternity and was thrilled with it. In comparing notes, we think Ms. Aletta was probably her guide too. If so, it is indeed a small world!

Subject: Phenomenal Vatican Tour!

Our tour with Eugenia of the Vatican museum, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica was wonderful!! She did a phenomenal job! Her descriptions of paintings, artists' styles, and historical figures and events were very detailed and thorough. We learned so much about Michelangelo, Raphael, and the history of Popes from her. She was also very interesting to listen to. She was able to answer all of our questions and expand upon them. Not knowing much about the Sistine Chapel before we went, I now feel after hearing Eugenia's explanations, that I could explain it to someone else and point out all sorts of details. Her language skills were wonderful as well and she was very easy to understand.

She was extremely knowledgeable and was an excellent guide! We very much enjoyed our tour with her and will definitely recommend this tour and to request her as a tour guide to people we know who might travel to Rome in the future.

We had an excellent experience with all three guides on our 4 tours in Italy.

Our first two tours in Rome with Barbara Neoini were interesting and entertaining because Barbara was extremely knowledgeable and shared information with enthusiasm.

She took measures to involve our grandchildren and keep them interested throughout the tour in spite of the heat and our group being tired and suffering with jet lag. We were extremely pleased with Barbara's services and will recommend her and Through-eternity to our friends.

Fabiana Bisa was a delightful tour guide. She not only gave us a knowledgeable, interesting, and entertaining tour, she went out of her way to successfully engage our youngest grandchild
in the sights and museums of Florence. Fabiana found us a fantastic restaurant and we enjoyed a delicious lunch break. Our driver was extraordinary skillful in the drive through Florence
and the extra stop he made for us in Pisa.

Bartolomeo Giusto gave us an excellent tour of Pompeii and the museum of Naples. His experience saved us much time upon arrival by directing us to the uncrowded entrance. His narration on the tour in Pompeii was very knowledgeable and made the history come alive for us.

All four of our tours were a rewarding experiences and we will be recommending your guides and through-eternity to our friends and especially to our travel agent.

Subject: Outstanding, personable, passionate, and brimming with knowledge

Cinzia and Luca are outstanding, personable, passionate, and brimming with knowledge. We cannot say enough say about Cinzia and Luca. They answered all of our questions, engaged us every moment, and simplified the history of Rome in a manner that was not overwhelming and truly satisfying. We selected two different tours (Vatican Museum and St. Peter's and The city of Caesars: The Roman Forum and Colosseum) with Through Eternity and could not have been more pleased with the outcome. Both tours exceeded the allotted time and we loved every minute and wished we could have had more. The summer sun and the excessive heat could not take away from our experience and we only hope to return to Italy one day where without a doubt we will book with Through Eternity again. Regards, MD

Subject: A wonderful shared experience!!

Buona sera!

Our tour with Angelo was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!!!! He was so very warm and kind and personable, but as importantly, he was incredibly knowledgeable. It was so very apparent that he cares a great deal about the art and history he is discussing and that he takes history and art very personally.

We were so lucky to be the only ones in our group. Angelo immediately asked us questions about our experiences in Italy and the level of our knowledge about painting, sculpture, and architecture. He incorporated our background and our experiences into everything he showed us. When showing us a sculpture or a painting, he asked us what we thought and what it showed us. It was not a guided tour. It was a wonderful shared experience!!

When walking through the city, he pointed out so many things and explained their historical significance to us. Again, he made sure to point out sights and facts relevant to our background.

It was such a wonderful afternoon, I really hated to see it end. My husband, who had accompanied me under "some duress", said it was the best thing we did in all of Italy. At the end of our tour, it was wonderful to find out that Angelo would be our guide the next day for the Uffizi and Academia. We were so very lucky to have had him with us. He made Firenze come alive for us.

His tours, especially this one, were the highlight of our two weeks in Italy. When we return, we will take any tour he is doing!!

He was incredible and wonderful. Be sure to give him all our best wishes for continued success.

Subject: Highlights of Our Trip

My apologies for the delayed response. I just returned from Italy earlier today. My sister and I were lucky enough to have Katia as a tour guide for the two tours we booked with Through Eternity. We enjoyed both tours immensely. We found Katia to be very knowledgable and engaging. The tours were informative and interesting. We especially enjoyed her Vatican Tour. She also gave us suggestions and recommendations for other sites to visit while in Rome. The Vatican Tour was one of the highlights of our entire trip and would not have been without Katia's wonderful expertise!

We will definitely recommend Through Eternity Tours and Katia specifically to friends and family traveling to Rome!

Subject: Memorable Vatican Tour

When in Rome we booked the 5 hour Vatican tour and were very fortunate to have Guido as our guide. Not only was he very knowledgeable but presented the information in a very interesting manner. You had the feeling he cared about what he was doing. I enjoyed his stories and his whole manner. He made sure all group members were accounted for and made sure we had breaks. I liked that he was considerate of children in our group (my granddaughter being one). Our experience would not have been as memorable without his guidance. I highly recommend this tour to all!!
