Subject: Great Tours and Guides

We very much enjoyed the Rome of the Caesars and Palatine Hill tours with Leonardo. I thought it was nice how these two tours were grouped together to enable us to really understand the history of Ancient Rome. Despite the hot temperatures, I thoroughly enjoyed the tours as Leonardo went at a good pace, took breaks in the shade, and pointed us to all of the water fountains. He was also extremely interesting and knowledgeable - answering all of my MANY questions. I would highly recommend Through Eternity, these two tours, and Leonardo to friends
and family.

We also very much enjoyed the Vatican Museum and St. Peters in depth experience tour with Eugenia. It was wonderful to be able to skip the lines. The headsets allowed us to hear all of the fascinating history that Eugenia told us about. The pace of the tour was also excellent. I would highly recommend Through Eternity, the St. Peters tour, and Eugenia to friends and family.

Subject: I had an excellent tour with Valeria!

I had an excellent tour with Valeria. She was an outstanding guide who was thoroughly engaging, knowledgeable and personable. Subject: Historical Sites Come to Life

My name is David Brown, I was in charge of making the arrangements for two couples traveling to Italy. I choose your company because I thought we would gain some history and insight to the wonders of Rome. I had no idea that we would experience the most wonderful tour we had ever taken. Mario was outstanding; his knowledge of the history of Rome is superb and the way he presents the information is wonderful and entertaining. I believe my wife summed up the experience the best; she said Mario makes the historical sites come to life. I agree with her assessment completely, he was excellent. Mario surpassed any tour guide we have had in the past. He even took the time to suggest a number of restaurants in Rome, which by the way we visited and they were excellent. I can't praise him enough and I suggest that you don't lose him.

Subject: Caterina Brought Nero's Rome to Life!

Thank you for the wonderful tour “Nero’s Rome including Underground and the third tier”. Our fabulous guide, Caterina Panetta, brought her considerable art and history education and experience to bring the ancient sites to life for us. After years of travel and touring without and with guides we can say with certainty that this guide and tour are well worth the cost.

In addition to the major sites, the tour takes you to places that are not open to the public – these are the most interesting, the coolest (both in temperature and enjoyment) and the ultimate views and photo opportunities. There is so much to see- but on your own, very little chance to really understand and enjoy. We heard so many people confused, bored, tired.. not enjoying their visit. Our group was engaged, laughing and really getting the sense of all the layers of history and intrigue that was ancient Rome!

Our guide Caterina was superb – an utter delight. Her knowledge and zest for the subject was just amazing and infectious. Every member of our party grew in their understanding and appreciation. Subject: Cinzia gave a fabulous tour!

Hi,

Cinzia gave a fabulous tour. From the beginning when she asked us what was important to us (so that she could customize the tour for us), and throughout when she was patient with us, answering our questions. She is extremely knowlegable on all the places we visited, and even showed us pictures comparing what we were seeing today with how it looked originally. Cinzia arrived right on time, guided us to locations, and showed us the sights.

We will highly recommend both Through Eternity Tours and Cinzia to our friends.

Subject: Fantastic Tour with Dave!

We just returned from our trip last night. I would like to give Dave the highest recommendation. He was quite knowledgable and had a very easy going manner that made it quite comfortable and informal. It was a very hot day (I am sure you have many) and he was careful to help us find shade, water and stay comfortable. We had our 3 children on the tour and he was able to keep things at both their level and still engage the adults. I can't think of any specifics to ask you to improve upon...it was quite fantastic and proved to be a high point for our trip to Italy.

Subject: Simona Showcased the Beauty of Rome!

Simona was a fantastic tour guide. She definitely has a passion for showcasing the beauty that is Rome. As a trained archaeologist, she has an in-depth knowledge of Rome and provided very interesting insights into the history and preservation of the ruins. Because it was a private tour, we were able to cover a lot of sites. She gave some fantastic recommendations for sight seeing and restaurants, and was very flexible to finetune the tour as per my interest. I would highly recommend her and would use her again.

Our tour guide Caterina was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and interesting. It was a very hot day with big crowds but my teenagers were kept interested for 7 hours. They said it was a highlight of the trip. We all enjoyed the day.

Subject: Incredible Guide

I do not think we could have asked for a better tour guide! The two days spent with on our private tour with Luca exploring Rome were fabulous, his knowledge of the subject matter is above reproach, his use of books and drawings to illustrate the before and after views of the buildings and areas we visited in Rome brought a better understanding of the rise and fall of this great city to myself and my family. Luca was patient and spent equal amounts of time with myself, my wife and our two teenage children. The fact that he would allow my wife to duck into an occasional store, allow my teenage daughter to look at this and stop for that made our tour of Rome a very enjoyable and memorable trip. Luca spent more time than was called for in conducting our tour and he made sure that we covered all items on the agenda, despite the fact that we had taken time out for my wife or daughter to stop and shop or for me or my son to ask questions and stay longer at some of the visited sites. Luca brought ancient Rome to life for me and my family and I would recommend your company and Luca to any of our friends interested in booking a tour of Rome. I can not imagine there being a better, more qualified and more personable tour guide than Luca. Luca is an asset to your company, one any tour company would be proud to have and should work hard to keep.

Subject: Incredible Immersion Tour

We thoroughly enjoyed our Immersion in Rome tours with Caterina and Guido. Both guides were very knowledgeable regarding the history and the art of Rome. We particularly enjoyed Guido’s story-telling to bring the history to life more. We appreciated Caterina’s insight into the masterpieces we were seeing and she knew a great restaurant for a local experience! Both guides were very personable and flexible in adapting the tour to our interests. We would highly recommend a private guide to fully appreciate and experience Rome. Subject: A lasting impression.

Cinzia Cutrone of Through Eternity gave us an excellent and enjoyable tour of the Vatican. Throughout the five-hour tour, she shared her considerable knowledge of the artwork and history of the Vatican, building on various themes to create a lasting impression. She always made sure the group was safe and together before moving on in the very crowded space, and she let us know ahead of time what we could expect. She was respectful and happy to answer questions about what we were seeing or on other aspects of Rome. At the end of the tour, she graciously provided my partner and me with the names of several restaurants in the area where we were staying. We tried one of them - Restaurant Ditirambo - and it was fabulous. I would highly recommend a tour with Cinzia Cutrone.

Subject: Just What We Wanted!

The tour was just what I was looking for. It was in depth, but not boring. At first I was apprehensive about the headset, but it was perfect. It allowed me to not strain to hear Cinzia, and at the same time even wander away to take some pictures. Cinzia was personable and professional. Overall it was a very good tour and I would highly recommend it.

Subject: Felt Like a Personal Tour

Nero's Rome was a very nice tour. John knew his subject matter and patiently answered our questions. The tour was the right length and I was looking for the in depth information John could provide. The small semi-private group made it almost like a personal tour. Cutting the lines made us feel very VIP. Honestly, this was the kind of tour I was looking for and fulfilled my expectations.

Subject: Charming, funny, and personable

This was a really really great tour. The lecturer was charming, funny, and personable. Her knowledge of Renaissance art was impressive. She so very clearly just loves it and is eager to make her audience love it. Also clearly has a great appreciation for the Vatican and Vatican history, and a great rapport with the people in the Vatican she sees all the time.
