Discover two wonderful hidden gems of the Mediterranean on our latest virtual tour! Sitting serenely in the Gulf of Naples, Ischia is a spectacular volcanic island offering crystal clear waters, unspoiled landscapes, cultural sites and many other surprises. Its rugged coasts are characterized by a succession of headlands, coves and beaches where seawater mixes with hot water from thermo-mineral springs, making the island one of the spa capitals of Europe. Also known as “The GreenatIsland” due to its numerous pine trees and rich Mediterranean vegetation, in Springtime the island is riot of colors and fragrances. The vineyards, cultivated in terraced fields, add a special touch to the general landscape of the island, as do its marvellous beaches. Not far from Ischia is the no less lovely island of Procida, one of the smallest islands in the Gulf of Naples. Known for its beauty and natural splendor, Procida boasts a lovely coastline and captivating landscape with characterful houses clinging to the cliffs painted in pink and yellow hues. Join Andrea to get a virtual taster of these two stunning islands, and discover why the Mediterranean is one of the world's most beautiful places!
Hi I’m Andrea! A native of Naples, I’ve lived in the Campania region of Italy all my life, and I have a deep love for its art, archeology, music, architecture, cuisine, natural beauty and - of course - its people. I have shared this world with many, many visitors over the years, showcasing the vast range of this wonderful place. When I was 14 years old I started working as an actor in theatres, and this plays a central role in how I communicate on my tours today - I always try to put something theatrical into everything I do :-)

Another wonderful tour
Ischia is another place that people in Italy recommended I visit when I was traveling in the country but which I have yet to visit, so I have been looking forward to this tour since it was recently added to Through Eternity's offerings. After taking Andrea's tour, I understand why people recommended it. The island is full of history and culture and natural beauty and good food. Andrea starts out his tour, as so often, giving a bit of background on the history of the area, including the very early Greek colonization of Ischia. He then gives an overview of contemporary Ischia, with one of the huge advantages of a virtual tour being that he can showcase in about half an hour what would likely take at least a few days to physically visit. He then gives an (understandably) shorter overview of Ischia's much smaller neighbor Procida. I highly recommend this tour for those that are looking to further enrich their knowledge of Italy.
A wonderful tour, perfect pacing with gorgeous photography. Andrea certainly is an expect at combining history, art, culture of the islands!
